On Amethyst Glass

I write to you on amethyst glass brushed
smooth from river washing, to tell you
I wept when I drove past your exit
with its signpost to humanity.

You see, I'd bind my feet with golden cord
so you could fit them in your life.

The knots inside me unravel slowly.
I want you to know your gift.

INTRODUCTION

This website is not so much about me, but about art, about poetry and photography, and about the restless world of interweaving and intertwining words over words, under words, about seeing both mediums, poetry and photography, as the same - poetry.

It is what happens when a poem takes you and you find yourself at a café over a spinach salad, searching for an old, used tissue and a lipstick, or borrowing a pencil from the waiter so you can write on the edges of a road map.

It is what happens when you're out in a world of visual astonishment with your camera as your pen.

On this site you will find poetry, you will find photographs. I invite you to share my visions of the world, my art.
